What is Buy and Sell.com ?
Buy and Sell.com is a free, online classifieds site. It is intended to serve as a more efficient and cost effective alternative to print classified ads. Buy and Sell has a neighborhood community orientation.
How much does it cost to advertise my items?
NOTHING! Free classified advertising is offered to private individuals selling, buying, or trading their own personal use articles. Merchants wanting to sell their articles can contact us for more information on how to do so
Is there a commission on the ads?
No - you keep all of your sale proceeds.
Can I buy or sell online?
No. We are here to connect people and allow them to consummate transactions face to face. One of the biggest categories of online fraud complaints are consumer auction sites. Also, many items just don’t lend themselves to being shipped via courier – you have to see them – kick the tires so to speak.
Is there a limit on how many ads I can place?
For the time being no. Being a new site, but one of the fastest growing, we want to see how people use the site and we’re actively seeking their feedback
I signed up as a regular member, but still do not have my activation code. What do I do?
Sometimes the system gets bogged down with many people trying to register at the same time.
- We ask that you give us up to 2 hours for us to send you your activation code.
- If you still have not received it, double check that your email was put in properly.
- Also check you junk mail, and make sure that you have the following names added to your safelist/whitelist: admin@Buy and Sellmarketing.com and admin@Buy and Sell.com.

How much should I ask for this item?
If you are unsure on how much to ask you can look online at other ads for similar items in the appropriate classification. Even if the item is not identical you will get an idea of how much to ask. You could also check appraisal sources such as Blue Book for autos. Finally, you can look at the cost of similar items and apply an appropriate discount
How do I post on Buy and Sell.com?
Posting anything on Buy and Sell.com is simple. All you need to do is click on the “Place Ad” link located at the top of the homepage and follow the instructions to make sure your posting is placed in the proper category, and fill in the fields on the listing sheet. Posting is completely self-service and you have complete control over the content that appears in your posting
How can I edit my posting?
You can make changes to your posting at any time by logging into your Buy and Sell.com account, and modifying the information you want changed
Are there any types of postings which are not allowed?
